Publishing & Printing Pricing
We have several website resources to assist you with understanding and appreciating our various publishing and printing price structures.
This page here will provide you will details of our various publishing packages. Each package offers its own unique advantages though the basic operating principle is that the higher the price of the publishing package, the higher the rate of royalties returned, as well as the lower the dropship percentage that applies to purchasing books direct. Subject to certain terms & conditions, our publishing packages go all the way up to 100% royalties and 0% dropship fees.
On the same publishing packages page, you will also find a 'Return on Investment' (ROI) calculator. This allows you to enter the estimated RRP for your book, a print cost, and as well, the level of trade discount (i.e. distributor/retailer profit) you envisage offering to the book trade for a sale of your work (generally set between 25-55% of RRP, with 35% being an average). If you wish to arrive at a more accurate book print cost, then you will need to have registered a website account, and be logged in before using the print cost calculator on this page - that is part of the ROI calculator.
Once logged in to your website account, you will also find a page count estimator calculator, which provides a very general and rough estimate of the number of pages based on word count. A very rough estimate because page count ultimately depends on font size, margin size, gutter size - and in general, the amount of white space utilised. The best way to establish an accurate page count is to set an actual page size in word and then how many pages that cause your document to work out to. You also need to add in addition pages for the title page, ISBN page, contents page, etc...
