You accept and fully grant that by requesting, granting permission and/or accepting the suggestion that The London Press obtains such a quotation for you that The London Press is not and cannot ever be responsible for the security of your work and that it is your full responsibility in the present and the future to defend your own copyright. You grant that The London Press bears no liability (and cannot bear any liability) for any events and circumstances that arise from the process it engages in (i.e. the forwarding of your manuscript to non-company affiliated third party individuals and professionals The London Press considers suitable and relevant to provide guide pricing for carrying out the work) so as to provide you with a quotation (for such services as editing, typesetting and/or graphic design) in respect of the work you submit to The London Press. You acknowledge and accept that The London Press may not carry out editing and typesetting jobs in-house and reserves the right to contract out such jobs as editing and/or typesetting to third parties, and therefore needs to forward manuscripts to non-company affiliated third parties to obtain pricing which forms the basis of the quotation for carrying out the work that is provided to yourself. Further, you grant that you accept it is your full responsibility to ensure that any work and/or manuscript submitted to The London Press is labelled with the appropriate, relevant and correct copyright information/notice so as to ensure the works full protection as well as to ensure the works copyright can be fully defended by yourself. You acknowledge that The London Press will not check such copyright labelling/notice is present and/or correct and is not in anyway liable for not doing so and/or is not responsible for any copyright notices that are not accurate, correct and/or not formatted correctly.

13. Severability

If a provision of these terms and conditions is determined by any court or other competent authority to be unlawful and/or unenforceable, the other provisions shall continue in effect. If any unlawful and/or unenforceable provision would be lawful or enforceable if part of it were deleted, that part shall be deemed to be deleted, and the rest of the provision shall continue in effect.

These terms and conditions are for the benefit of you and us, and are not intended to benefit any third party or be enforceable by any third party. The exercise of our and your rights in connection to these terms and conditions is not to be subject to the consent of any third party whatsoever.
